From PAL Press Release:

Philippine Airlines order two Boeing 777-300ER extended range aircraft with a plan to expand its direct services between the Philippines and the United States.

Philippine Airlines is a long-time Boeing customer and flies to 24 countries around the world and 18 domestic destinations. “The acquisition of the Boeing 777-300ER allows PAL to expand direct services between the Philippines and the United States,” said Philippine Airlines president Jaime J. Bautista. “Our passengers will also benefit from the higher level of comfort and amenities that this high-technology aircraft brings.”

In addition to this order, Philippine Airlines also has purchase rights for two additional 777-300ER aircraft. The airline will also be making further expansions in its operating fleet with the signing of a letter of intent with GE Commercial Aviation Services to lease two Boeing 777-300ER.

PAL currently uses both Boeing 747-400 and Airbus A340 aircraft for the cross pacific routes it has to the USA.

When will PAL start to fly from London, they were once the ONLY carrier to fly none stop from London Heathrow to Manila AirBusd A320.

I am sure that Filipinos here would love to see PAL fly from here once again, come on PAL lets see a Filipino Airline here? before Cebu Pacific recognises the missing link?

Thousands of Filipinois live here now, so we want OUR countries Best Airline back.
